I help women like you, because i once was a woman like you. it all started senior year of college…

I'm sure you've heard the story go - "I was so busy with schedules, relationships, etc. that I put my health on the back burner. I can't believe how much I've let myself go." My story isn't far off from that. I went through my four years of college doing all of the extracurriculars, balancing jobs and a social life, as well as enduring the struggles of nursing school. Fueling my body with the proper nutrients and prioritizing movement were FAR down on my list of priorities. This led me to end my four years of college with an additional 40 pounds of weight than I had walking onto the campus as a freshman -- oof. I looked back and thought, HOW did I get to this point?

But in all honesty, it's a lot easier than we think, right? One thing leads to another and if we are not intentional in prioritizing certain things, we may look back at the years and see how far we've fallen off the track. But my post-grad self decided that big changes were needed. We weren't going to sit back and settle for how far we had fallen. We needed a comeback.

So that's what I did. It unfortunately didn't happen overnight BUT small, intentional changes began to occur. I started being mindful of what I was putting in my body. I started going to the gym a few days a week. I drank more water and prioritized sleep. And those small decisions led to not only the shed of all the excess weight I had put on, but a complete habit and life transformation. I was so passionate about all I had learned throughout the course of my own transformation journey, I invested in educational courses to get my personal training and nutrition certifications. And that is how JTBFit came to fruition.

Now, I get to work alongside women of all walks of life. I get the privilege of educating and encouraging them on how to properly fuel and move their bodies while hitting their goals. With all of the misinformation and false advertising in the world, I know how frustrating it can be to follow "promised" protocols, fads, and the newest weight loss secrets. So I have created a fitness program tailored to each INDIVIDUAL woman and not the population as a whole. JTBFitness started from the heart of a 22 year old college girl who wanted to not just look better, but feel better. To be stronger. To enjoy the fullness of what life has to offer. I am so thankful because now I get the opportunity to help other women step into arenas they should and are welcomed in. JTBFit was made for you.
